Since graduating from St. John’s College, Heather Wilde (A99) has exhibited the versatility of a St. John’s education. She’s worked for startups and large corporations as a flight attendant, a director of HR, and helped launch an online service company. We caught up with Wilde, who was just named to the Board of Advisors at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Engineers.
The RE-CYCLE bike-rental program at St. John’s College continues fall 2015. Launched in spring 2015 by the student-run Environmental Club, the program makes bicycles available, free of charge, to St. John’s students, staff, and faculty members.
Kristen Luchsinger (A15) recently won a medal at the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Awards poster competition, held by the American Astronomical Society. We caught up with her to discuss her love of science and how the science program at St. John’s College prepared her for graduate studies in astronomy.
