Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21, 2024

Earth Day St Johns College Logo

The city of Santa Fe and our surrounding communities have always celebrated Earth Day. It reflects Santa Fe’s sustainability ethos and desire to live harmoniously with nature. St. John’s has a long tradition of participating in Earth Day: the first president of this campus, Richard Weigle, led celebrations at the very first Earth Day in 1970. This year, Earth Day kicks off with the Dean’s lecture and extends through the weekend to include a Caja Del Rio Hike and clean-up, campus celebrations, and a virtual seminar on Saturday, concluding with a Tutor Panel on Sunday afternoon jointly hosted with the New Mexico Museum of Art.  .

St. John's Day of Giving

St. John鈥檚 Day of Giving helps fund the remaining 364 days of the year鈥攆rom seminars to student activities, scholarships to campus improvements. More than any other day, this is an opportunity to level up your philanthropy, make a challenge to friends and classmates, or donate to one of our specialized annual giving funds, such as Johnnie Scholarships, the Tutor Fund, or Student Life and Athletics.
